I was unsure about what I wanted for flowers until I found our florist, Amy. She knew exactly what we wanted, even before we did. I’ve never been a fan of white roses, studded with diamantes etc, and didn’t think there were muchmore options in wedding flowers, but she created an wintery pastel bouquet with silvery green leaves, wrapped in hessian! The boys had pastel coloured roses, wraped in twine. They were gorgeous. We made most of our decor ourselves. From straw bales that we baled on the farm in the summer, to the milk churns, which are the originals from our dairy farm. Our centrepieces, which represented the table names came from different parts of the farm which we collected over a few weeks, and sprayed gold. These were then placed on pieces of tree trunk, from a tree we cut down earlier in the year.
